Jolse is always having sales and their prices are quite good, but I AM A CHICKEN SHIT.
To put it nicely, I want to go and have them take my money, only I am nervous. Nervous about what? Let me count the ways:
- Jolse is cheap enough where I want to "try" a lot of products. Nervous about getting a product that will hurt my skin and then I am stuck with it.
- Jolse has "credit" policies, meaning the shopping never ends? Nervous about getting addicted to online shopping.
- Jolse sends the packages as a "gift" and if it's below $50 USD it has no free tracking code. I am obviously too cheap to buy a tracking code. Nervous my package will get lost.
- Jolse also does not pay for charges associated with customs. How will I even know my package is stuck in customs? Nervous about it getting lost in the black hole of customs.
- Nervous about getting chosen to pay duty on these items.
- Nervous I have ordered too much and the duty is worth more than the cost of the "gift" itself.
- Nervous on how long it's going to take to get here.
- Nervous about how between me and them, shipping is a whole other realm.
So, YES, I want Jolse to take my money. But then I am also too scared of all the possibilities of it going south to really rationalize the fact that Tony Moly Sheet Masks are 11 for $8 when they sell two for $7 at Sephora. Do I need more sheet masks? No one ever does, but of course I would like to order 22 of them, at least. It'll only be $16 dollars, which would be fabulous, but then I am going to want to order a whole bunch of other stuff and I can't even use my basic routine because I am still suffering from an allergic reaction.
Le sigh.
